Mexican Revolution: Francisco I. Madero issues the ''Plan de San Luis Potosi'', denouncing President Porfirio Díaz, calling for a revolution to overthrow the government of Mexico, effectively starting the Mexican Revolution.

1911

Mexican President Porfirio Díaz and the revolutionary Francisco Madero sign the Treaty of Ciudad Juárez to put an end to the fighting between the forces of both men, and thus concluding the initial phase of the Mexican Revolution.

Adolfo de la Huerta becomes President of Mexico.
