Danish prince Wilhelm Georg is chosen as King George of Greece.

Danish Prince Wilhelm arrives in Athens to assume his throne as George I, King of the Hellenes.

Greek politician Charilaos Trikoupis publishes a manifesto in the Athens daily ''Kairoi'' entitled "Who's to Blame?" in which he lays out his complaints against King George. He is elected Prime Minister of Greece the next year.

3.18.1913

King George I of Greece is assassinated in the recently liberated city of Thessaloniki.
