World War II: The Tripartite Pact is signed in Berlin by Germany, Japan and Italy.

World War II: Hungary becomes a signatory of the Tripartite Pact, officially joining the Axis Powers.

World War II: Romania becomes a signatory of the Tripartite Pact, officially joining the Axis Powers.
